Side-track: I'm reliably informed ADHD meds are relatively cheap in Australia if you were diagnosed as a child. But if you weren’t, meds are around $260 a month. And since there's a massive gender gap and resulting time lag in diagnosis, women are getting slugged for those costs

Depends entirely on whether the script is private or not. Dexamphetamine and methylphenidate are PBS subsidized, so public scripts are all the same price
