Well that’s my official line to people “cut down on meat”. But in this modern time going vegan is actually not difficult at all. Check out “beyond meat” burgers. Obv processed still so not healthy but as an occasional treat- which is what burgers should be- excellent substitute

You definitely run into the "not everyone lives in LA" issue with calls for global veganism. Kale and quinoa don't grow well in the arctic circle and are very expensive to transport.

True there are some places that would struggle and environmental costs of transport in those cases must be weighed against benefits of plant based. But I think there is still capacity for a largely vegan planet.
