What is so bad about this? 1. Humans are not very fertile. The percentage of cycles in which fertile women (who have unprotected sex) end up with a live birth is very low 2. IVF patients are pre-selected for fertility issues 3. Rates are comparable to other countries

The main issue is not with the low rate but that IVF is poorly regulated and often sold as a certain fix for people with little understanding of the true rates of success
