I thought Cannabis are already been demonstrated "scientifically" as an unconventional treatment for Epilepsy.

There's a question mark there because it is effective in some notable cases but it can also cause seizures in epileptic people. It is likely that some cannabinoids may be useful in preventing epileptic seizures, but we are not sure which ones yet

That has definitely been shown to work, but it's a tough one to follow so rarely used. It's mostly for kids, and getting them to adhere to a strictly keto diet can be very challenging
