It's also worth noting that the I^2 statistic ranged from 68% to 97%(!) indicating very significant heterogeneity because they lumped together incredibly disparate symptom scores which makes the results questionable

There is also an important distinction between some diets being (potentially) protective of an event and other diets causing it - in this case, at best, you may have demonstrated the former, but not the latter
