Depends on the state, because criminal convictions are all up to the states. Vic definitely does, and I think BOCSAR does in NSW, not sure about the rest
Yeh our state/federal split gets really annoying when it comes to crime. Feds only measure what they monitor, so there's a lot of variation

The most annoying place is jails tho, because each state has an idiosyncratic system about who deals with people convicted of crimes. Huge variation depending on whether you're in VIC, NSW, QLD etc
