Nah don't have to give them access to data. It's actually a pretty smart method based on quite a bit of evidence to get people to do the course while keeping it as accessible as possible

Turns out giving free courses means that virtually no one finishes If you make the payment relatively large upfront you get the largest bang for your buck. Then they return the cost to try and make it accessible

The guy who spearheaded the method is a psychiatrist in Sydney, he gave lectures for my MPH. Some really interesting science there!
