I sometimes wonder if I’m being dupe by the health food industry. I mean what makes an whole grain organic, local sourced meal “healthier” than McDonalds, assuming same caloric content. Does it make you feel more full so you don’t eat so much? I’m unconvinced.

And on the other hand, there does seem to be something about Western diets (or culture?) that make people gain weight. I’m just not sure it’s understood what exactly that is.
