For good reason. After lots of pain and discomfort coconut oil cured my stomach problems. Great butter replacement on toast too. I’m not a testimonial person but I’ve learned so much health knowledge from Dr Oz.

Actually, there is something called the "Placebo Effect" which has been shown to work.

If by "work" you mean "alleviate subjective symptoms like pain and fatigue", then yes. However they don't affect hard outcomes, and can't "boost immunity".
