Annoying things about #MyHealthRecord:
a) fear-mongering: many of the objections I'm seeing now are absurd
b) ignorance of benefits: there are actually some really great things FOR THE INDIVIDUAL about MHR, but it's lost in a sea of angry yelling
Although I think the flipside of that is that health workers are often incredibly blase about sharing patient data and with MHRs that could very easily result in a lot of criminal charges

I'm particularly upset by
@AuDigitalHealth 's attempt to say that myHR is safer for privacy than paper. Logs != safety, logs are deterrents and for redress. Limiting access is safety and online records are more accessible (duh) -
But as a consumer, I would argue that it is actually a bit of a relief to have some visibility over who accesses my health data. I know a lot of doctors. They are often very blase about health info. It is nice to know that I can check and see who's been accessing things and why
