After talking to a few doctors at work, I've seen another gap regarding #MyHealthRecord - health professionals don't realize how serious the data governance is
If nothing happens, a lot of doctors could be up on criminal charges
Not according to the Act. If it's information "included in a...#MyHealthRecord", then it cannot be used or disclosed unless it is "for the purpose of providing healthcare" or enforcement actionspic.twitter.com/Cq7a1oSfpB

I'm not actually sure, but on reading the Act it looks like it's actually even broader than I thought. This appears to indicate that information that is included in an MHR, but not obtained directly from it (i.e. pathology test) is under the same restrictions

Interesting to read this HN. So I cant show my wife my record. In theory? BTW who actually is an accredited health professional. Physio? Only someone with Uni qualifications? I am being lazy here as I am sure it is in the fine print. I have ticked OK in all boxes.

I don't think that's the full story... There's a section in there about doctor's owning the info once it's in their own health record system. Much like GPs now own data in their practice software. I don't have time to check tho.
