But it's simply a factor of any health insurance system, unless you want PHIs to be able to discriminate on the basis of age which I personally find abhorrent
I want PHI in its current form to disappear. I want the young to desert it so premiums rise so high that its politically impossible to support its existence.
I'm all for abolishing PHI and putting that money back into Medicare, but that doesn't make your argument valid
I'm not suggesting that, but I guess I AM suggesting dismantling PHI as an industry and having a more robust public system
I think I've explained more than enough times that I agree with you on the ethics of not exploiting people but when it comes to PHI the system is purely a means to strip extra money from the young who cant afford it and push it to wealthier older Australians who can.
I just think it's silly to argue against one of the few things that's actually good about our PHI system. If we allowed age discrimination, which would prevent this inequity, PHI would get infinitely worse
