Not at all! If anything, the VLEDs were far more impressive as they ceased all antidiabetics prior to starting the weightloss regimen and cost far less

When I showed the Virta study to some endo friends, they all said "but they took everyone off SUs and put them on SGLT2/GLP1s! Of course they lost weight!"

Well, I always ask my patients to choose between a diet with 800 calories a day or an ad libitum one without carbs. Which would you pick? Have you tried eating 800 calories (specially high in carbs) for months? Virta's program may cost more, but KD are easier to adhere and not $
