Certain types of fat certainly cause huge health problems, as does lack of physical activity, but once you’ve seen your first few cases of T2 diabetes reversed simply by the exclusion of ref sugar & processed carbs from diet you read analysis like that with a raised eyebrow 1/2

Look, we can have a debate on an individual level about whether a ketogenic/LCHF diet is the best for weightloss, but this isn't really looking at that. The question is whether the increase in calories was driven by increased consumption of carbs
