Um, that's ~literally~ the line I've gotten every time from #LCHF advocates
It's always some variation of "other diets don't work the only way is keto and it's the best"https://twitter.com/matthk/status/1011033189895233536 …
The main reason I lump LCHF and keto diets in together, aside from the fact that the overwhelming majority of keto diets are LCHF, is that the adherents exhibit similarly odd, cultesque behaviours

It’s disappointing that you‘ve encountered this, but I don’t think most of them act cultishly. Sure there are the overexcited newbies, but these are insignificant compared to the quasi-religious goon-squads that veganism and homeopathy attract. For the most part, LCHF = JERF.

There are many versions such as this pg 28 by Jennifer Elliott, Baby Boomers Bellies & Blood Sugars (2011) perfect for some but DAA shut her & others down. As opposed to pg27 with the highs and lows. A low point for DAA. Unconscionablepic.twitter.com/6ISq60e9pI

And someone who is a fan of, or currently implementing, or curious about LCHF (or Keto) isn’t an ‘adherent’. I think that’s a bit of a stretch. Allow for the over-excited and engage with the rest :-)
