What a shameful, disgusting thing to do. Textbook fat shaming, of the lowest kind. I wasn't aware that the low-carb movement was made up of schoolyard bullies

Take it easy there health nerd, “we” aren’t that innocent in all this.

I was bullied for the majority of my childhood and teen years for my weight. To me, this is like a doctor jeering at their COPD patient for having trouble getting up a flight of stairs

What if you'd been raised on a diet that did not cause excessive weight gain? Isn't that what you would have preferred? See, we now know what are the key components of that diet.

Ah yes, the justification for bullying people. It's noble, because we disagree with their opinions! What a just cause

At risk of sounding like broken record, fat-shaming is diversionary tactic to avoid real issue: dietary advice with no evidence-based. Fact that dietitians who dish it up are often overweight lends more weight (excuse pun) to the theory that their own advice doesn't work!

You can argue about evidence without once commenting on another person's weight. What total nonsense

The BDA published that photo in the public domain, not exactly a PR masterpiece was it. The new BDA strap line is "Dietitians Do Prevention" what are the preventing? certainly not the obesity epidemic.

Must say I have to agree with @GidMK on this one in terms of importance of not openly judging, critiquing, or making fun of other’s fatness. I’m surprised some of you (who I respect) feel taking this tact to critique science of nutrition is appropriate or effective.

"making fun of other’s fatness" is the last thing I would ever do, as stated here, I was morbidly obese ten years ago. Stop twisting the FACTS.

Prof noakes asked you a question. Answer could be of profound interest to all. Not all as most of us know. But could be of profound Interest to all who's yet to come to understand the evidence.

Silly Statement - As Picture shows their #Failure affecting Millions - you're just deflecting from the Obvious, aka Obfuscating - Besides "Obesity" is NOT a "Dirty Word" - It is a #failure to recognize a "FAT Accumulation DISORDER" and DIAGNOSE it as such - @USDA @RootCause #SADpic.twitter.com/imNk8Hilvd
