It's tragic that so many people bought the clearly rehearsed "we didn't know where we were" "we didn't know where we were going" BS propaganda cover stories from Russian forces in Ukraine. The coached lies were to shield them from responsibility for their war crimes in Ukraine.🧵

Bezsmertnyi says the lie that Russian soldiers "thought they were on training missions" & "didn't know they were going to Ukraine" was easily shattered to pieces by how heavily armed they were. Their weaponry was for battle, not training. They'd no answer for the discrepancy. 3/5

Just like in 2014, when Russian forces in Ukraine said they "didn't know they'd crossed the border" &/or "were lost", this is another line of lies Russian soldiers have been trained to repeat. And these lies today are as absurd as the lies of 2014. We shouldn't believe them. 4/5

After all these years, everyone should see Russia for what it is: an INDUSTRIAL scale lie factory, where every lie serves a purpose, and everyone is complicit or involved in the manufacturing, disseminating, and maintaining the lies. Russia is a truly fascist state. 5/5
