Whoever gave the data to the Pillar also used location data to figure out a unique identifier for the priest, and then tracked him to a Las Vegas bathhouse. This is a huge violation of his privacy by everyone involved

Here's what I want to know: Would the Washington Post do this? Read the CNA article on turning this data down; they seem to have thought it beyond the pale. Do contemporary journalistic ethics allow reporters to go after data like this?
