I was trying to make a knot by bending and twisting a strip. But now I understand instead of twisting, you can just fold along lines that are not orthogonal to the strip. It is quite difficult to guess how to fold. To be continued.pic.twitter.com/srmrSbpnCA

The Twin paradox can be understood in terms of space-time triangles. Angles (rapidities) and lengths are Lorentz invariant. You can generalize the idea of a circumcircle of a triangle to an “eigen-hyperbola” of a triangle in space-time. The triangle remains on this hyperbola as it is Lorentz transformed. By the way, a triple C=_C bond plus a single C-C has a slightly lower enthalpy than 2 double C=C bonds. I guess thats why the 1D chains of C atoms are alternatinly 3-fold and 1-fold.
