Like the majority of Americans, I have an immediate family member locked up behind bars. My dad is in prison & at the age of 75, he is high risk for the virus. Like I said, this is someone who should have been executed, but because we have such a flawed justice system, wasn't.

So I'm not saying that paying thousands of dollars to keep him in prison until he dies was the optimal solution. You're attacking a straw man here.
