      Big picture: Beyond Trump #DealOfTheCentury, @netanyahu @gantzbe etc, the post-1967 war "occupation" situation is gradually ending. #Israel moving towards defined borders, stability, and legal coherence; #Palestinians towards more aspects of state.

      1993 Oslo framework was first major change in post-1967 status quo. Created #Palestinian Authority as proto-state; division of west bank (east of 1949-1967 armistice lines) into areas A, B and C. 2/n

      2005: 2nd major change with #Israeli withdrawal from #Gaza. Shown to be failed experiment after Hamas takeover in 2007, turning Gaza into terror stronghold. Israel won't repeat in west bank areas. 3/n

          I would add the Oslo Accords that permitted armed terrorists - Arafat ‘ his thugs- to return from Tunisia was the first failed experiment.
