This is interesting. I've noticed this in myself but struggled to put it into words, or get the reasoning behind it. When I chat with people through IM it tends to be lots of short single lines, and when doing essays in school I struggled to bulk stuff out as a result.

Good lord, that first one is like reading my own writing! Mind you, the words flowed into my brain much better than the edited one. People have told me they like how I write my blogs posts because they can understand what I say. So perhaps there's a lesson to be learnt here...
