Trump thinks he is a king and ALL of our politicians kneel in fear of losing their next election. Shame on all of them! It's time for the villagers outside the castle to revolt!!

My theory: by resisting calls for impeachment while at the same time criticizing him, Pelosi is slowly reeling Trump in. She traps him into feeling confident enough to say and do stupid things that will then give her no choice but to impeach.

"..main point: England’s King George III was above the law, but the founders of our republic wanted a system that would divide power & have the branches check one another. The idea that only the president can investigate the president is an argument for autocrats, not Americans."

The founders are too be admired for every contingency and applied a check to it. Who would have thought that our senate would be so spineless. But the did consider that possibility. Four years given before being checked by the people. Dam. Impressive! :)

When history is taught, those Republican Senators will be tied to Trump as complicit accomplices to the worst Presidency in history. That will be their legacy.
