How did AG Barr draw a conclusion within 48 hours that #RobertMueller did not after 22 months? @NPR's @ailsachang speaks to former acting solicitor general and #georgetownlaw professor @neal_katyal:http://ow.ly/I4Ol50ocEmL

Its not that #Mueller could not reach a conclusion, its that he chose not to, in order that the report and information be sent to congress to make the final decision, as it was done in previous cases: Watergate, and Clinton/Lewinsky. #Barr short circuited that plan on his own.

William Barr wrote a four-page book review less than 48 hours after he got the book. Did he read the entire book? Was his review tainted in any way by his having written a much longer, 19-page commentary about why the book never should've been published? https://www.lawfareblog.com/document-attorney-general …

It's also been pointed out that Barr left out how many pages in the Mueller Report. For example, he was never able to get anything but written answers from Trump who obviously lied but not able to interogate properly & all of them said they would plead the 5th so they obstructed

Trump chose Barr to be his AG to be his puppet. He has no ethics and doesn't believe in the rule of law.

Easy answer is he already decided before the report was issued.

This is exactly what came to my mind as well. Simple as that. Barr wrote something last year that essentially indicted the Mueller Report so Trump knew that was his man but then Barr was clever enough to say the right things to get him accepted to the job of AG w/Rep congress

Since no one, but Barr & Rosenstein, have seen the report it’s hard to tell what could be in it. That’s why the report needs to be released.

I think a better question is why didn't Mueller make the conclusion? For what reason(s) did he chose to leave that unanswered? It certainly wasn't because it was just too difficult to figure out and he needed Barr's help and guidance.

Read George Conway's op ed. I think it has something to do with not wanting to make a criminal determination as there was not the evidence to do that but just enough to not fully exonerate him so leaving it to 3rd arm: Congress & Am people.

Barr concluded on the Mueller investigation when he wrote his white paper, months before his appointment. A non partisan investigation was interpreted by a partisan AG. Mueller can be the only source of interpreting the investigation and no American should settle for less!
