I think we can expect a lot of investigations from the House. I would imagine they'll ask for Trump's taxes and I would think they'd succeed in getting them. But I don't think they will start #impeachment unless and until there's a #Mueller report. - #GeorgetownLaw's Sue Bloch.
I'd hope who ever is overseeing #Mueller makes the report public. We can't take that for granted. - #GeorgetownLaw's Sue Bloch
"It's appears to me that Mueller is at a point in his investigation to act." "But the talk of impeachment is premature. It would be imprudent to act before they have information to justify it." Richard Ben-Veniste (former #watergate special prosecutor) speaking @PressClubDC
"The reason the framers gave us the remedy of #impeachment was to deal with wrongdoing of the president. It's not a wrap on the knuckles or a scarlet letter. It's a serious remedy that undoes an election." - #GeorgetownLaw's Professor Sue Bloch at @PressClubDC
.@jendaskal responds to equivalencies between Clinton impeachment & what's happening today: "If in fact there is evidence of #obstruction....that to me seems something that should be taken very seriously and does rise to where impeachment is an appropriate remedy."- @PressClubDC
