And you. His pals, and you, are in the 1%. And 3.5 million other Americans. Oh — and taxes were also cut for all other Americans who pay taxes.

Respectfully, I did not ask for my taxes to be cut. They shouldn’t have been, if the result is a budget that can’t support our federal workers. I have pledged to donate far more than my tax cut to charity, including to the Japanese American National Museum.

Orrin, while there may be a significant number of people in the 1% indifferent to the suffering of the 99%, not _all_ people in the 1% can be considered indifferent to this suffering.

So you're saying
#NotAllOnePerCenters? -
Perhaps in a manner of speaking, Tim. But to be fair, I’d also have to say that
#NotAllNinetyNinePerCenters are suffering. [PS - this graphic is NOT directed at you, whatever percent you belong to. For illustration purposes only.]pic.twitter.com/nGVWTFlRU9

Some people, like you, get the point, but not all seem to get it or care to get it. I just wish we could all be on the same page... some day.
-
Tim, almost 50% of people are below average intelligence. Let that sink in. In a democracy, or even in the world, I don’t believe we’re all meant to be on the same page. As humans, I believe we are meant to be aware of and responsible for our thoughts, feelings and actions.

I highly recommend this book if you’d like to accumulate some useful knowledge. [I also possess the other kind in spades.] One of the best books I’ve ever read on this mystery of being human, and I’ve read many.https://untetheredsoul.com/

Many developed countries in the west pay more taxes and enjoy a higher standard of life. Better roads, safer streets, higher quality of education, better healthcare, less poverty. World wide studies confirm this. Big difference every time I cross the border at NY-Mich-Ont.
