I realised that the US extradition issue was tangled up with the Swedish one, and that I don't yet know enough about Assange's legal situation, exactly what he is awaiting and why. I will read up and return to the issue.

Given the seriousness of the issue and the hugely negative precedent it will set for journalists, I would've thought you had followed it closely from the beginning. But then your paper has put the boot in to Assange ever since the Leigh saga and Viner, so we don't expect much.

If you care about justice & protecting press freedom then you really SHOULD get fully across the Assange case. Assange is a political prisoner held in the UK, there is ample evidence of multiple state interference in his case. Follow
