That means consumer prices go up if they get a raise, correct? How about not basing their salary on freight costs?
It looks like they're owner operated. They don't get a salary and they depend on the freight rates to cover their expenses and a liveable wage.
But the president said they were protesting in support of him...because they love him. He wouldn't be lying to us about this, would he?

This comes from a lack of unionized drivers. If the teamsters were as strong in the trucking business as they were 50 years ago, they would just go on a slowdown or strike, and get the rates back up.
