I can't overstate how grateful I am for 's biz model. I bought a plugin that doesn't support French accounting practices, but since they provide their source code (and it's damn clean), I can just change it to my needs. That's the true spirit behind FOSS!

#dlang main hopes for 2021: - `foreach (in value; container)` working with `-preview=in`; - Argument-dependent attributes behind a `-preview` switch; - Storage class inference for lambda (currently types are inferred, but not `ref` & co); - `-checkaction=context` by default;

My latest contribution to #dlang : Deprecations in templates will now show instantiation trace, just like instantiation failures, so you can trace what code triggers this annoying deprecation message inside of the libraries you use! Will be in v2.095.0.

Today's win: Our CI caught a bug in LDC in < 8 hours after the commit was introduced. It took < 5m to track it down & report it. That test is 1 line in our Travis / Github CI. If you are using #dlang you should test with ldc-latest-ci (Travis) or ldc-master (Github CI) it helps!

Am I the only one that expects `rm -f X` to remove X if possible but not complain otherwise ? Cue in today's joyful discovery: ``` touch somefile rm -f somefile/ooooops ``` Pass on Linux, fails on Mac OSX. #TheMoreYouKnow
Over the past months, I've been working on making #dlang play nicer with various other tools and standards. Glad to see some of this work being mentioned!
