“The third committee member, Supervisor Matt Haney, was not present for the vote.” Was @MattHaneySF out campaigning for Assembly, or did he want to avoid voting on his friend @chesaboudin which was a no-win situation for him?https://www.nbcbayarea.com/investigation/san-francisco-da-boudin-supervisor-stefani-spar-over-proposed-transparency-law/2706897/ …

@chesaboudin bc he has been a horrible DA and everyone knows it but what is the point? The board can’t force the DA to charge cases nor can the legislative branch tell the executive how to deal or dismiss cases1 reply 0 retweets 1 like -
Replying to @gomerpile39 @TheMarinaTimes and
Fair point. The request though is nothing out of the ordinary- it’s info the public are legally supposed to know anyhow. While you are right, no one can tell Chesa which case to dismiss - open transparency does draw attention to a 80%+ dismissal rate and debunks his claims.

What’s more troubling is why he’s lying about never receiving a request and then coming up with excuses on why it’s so hard to get that info.
