I'm not following the #PrayForNigeria hashtag, and it is not because I don't believe in prayers. I believe in new solutions to old problems, not doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results.

Instead of praising politicians for doing the bare minimum, call them out on what they have ignored and have failed to do. Your voice is powerful when you use it rightly, not when you behave like a born sycophant or praise-singer. Demand for more. Demand for good governance!

Edo State Governor was called out with pictures and video of a disgraceful school, and he promised to fix the mess. Now @ogundamisi has done the same to Kwara State Governor who has also promised to fix the mess. My point - if we do this in all states, we will make progress.

Oh, by the way, the National Hospital in Abuja was built by Mrs. Mariam Abacha. Originally named Mariam Abacha Hospital for Women & Children. It is arguably the best equipped Hospital in Abuja today. How many more have been so built? Couldn't we proceed from there?

Mrs. Yar'Adua raised Billions to build a Cancer research Centre in Abuja. What is the current state of that Hospital? If our leaders cannot build a Hospital to even selfishly treat their own ailments & those of others, how will they care about young lives?
