Anecdotally, sensory deprivation never resulted in anything remotely trippy for me, though I did have pretty weird dreams the night after.

Hmm yeah, I guess it would take a long time to start getting trippy

I was in there for an hour and the literature claims you're supposed to be able to get hallucinations after 15 minutes. My guess is that it's less about length of time and more about a certain sort of natural predilection to tripping.

Perfectly pleasant and interesting experience though, nice to spend that long relaxing alone with thoughts and was at least as good for my muscles as a massage, so can recommend it, it just wasn't remotely a trip for me.
