I was in there for an hour and the literature claims you're supposed to be able to get hallucinations after 15 minutes. My guess is that it's less about length of time and more about a certain sort of natural predilection to tripping.
Perfectly pleasant and interesting experience though, nice to spend that long relaxing alone with thoughts and was at least as good for my muscles as a massage, so can recommend it, it just wasn't remotely a trip for me.

Seems worth a go. I think the floatation people I used didn't offer longer slots like that, but I expect they could get talked into it. (Once COVID is over and they're open again)
