mm... i'm guessing that doesn't matter to him as much as whether or not he's properly processing his feelings in a way that makes him feel he's being true to himself, being honest as an artist, and also being a good husband
I would be extraordinarily surprised whether Tim Minchin cares if I think he's weird for doing this, yeah. But I still think these songs are unlikely to *reduce* the number of groupies hitting on him.

(I'm also of the opinion that if he wants the groupies and his wife is up for it there's nothing wrong with him sleeping around, and this is completely compatible with being a good husband, but that's a conversation for them to have)

IMO it's not the number of groupies that matters, but his personal mindset/mentality/frame as he navigates his life for the sake of not being tediously oblique: I deal with a version of this too, though maybe only a small a fraction of whatever he deals with
