I've been noticing recently that a lot of the time when my inclination would be to have more coffee I'm much better served by a hot bath and/or an extended cuddle. I think there's something interesting going on there with lowering a stress response.

I think so? I may be misremembering or wrong but my understanding is that the initial rush is mostly psychosomatic and it takes a while to meaningfully hit your bloodstream

I mean imo you can feel unrelaxed and unshitty at least I hope you can because otherwise the work I've put into not feeling shitty isn't nearly as close to the right direction as I thought
