a creep, but an honest creep nevertheless

i think he comes off as "creepy" bc he doesn't understand social norms which was apparent from the unsolicited DMs and "my singledom is primarily due to my introvertedness" "so if you're single and interested" - he was polite despite the v strange request

he probably doesn't understand how other people thinks judging by his one-sided DMs that was based on what he wants he knows you but you don't know him, he's yet another victim of parasocial relationship but from what i can tell he didn't have malicious intentions

i love the way he avoids saying anything nice about me

there is an art to sliding into dms and it is a complicated art but it almost never starts with "hi, you should be my gf, we good?"

I also find it really odd if someone DMs me without ever speaking to me publicly Does everyone else have the same feeling or do some people enjoy an artful out of the blue DM?pic.twitter.com/kDdTgQTObL

I get a lot of out of the blue DMs and a lot of them are pretty good, but I think it helps that either they're generally not hitting on me or if they are I'm too oblivious to tell.

this is good to know! I'm enjoying learning about the different kinds of DMs people get

I think my top idiosyncratic sorts of DM that I get that probably most others don't are:
1. Oh my god you said that in public thank you I could never do that.
2. Hmm you said $THING and it's interesting to hear that from someone who isn't a terrible person can you say more?

I also get a lot of people doing therapy in my DMs, which I'm varying receptive to and often fail to reply to because even when it's not unwelcome it can be really emotionally draining.

I get that, people do religion therapy in my DMs sometimes, I'm happy for them but it's tiring and I don't know what to do with the one-sided intimacy afterwards
