Man I forget how great nicotine is. I assume it stops being great if you use it too often, so it's probably adaptive that I forget this.

Of course nicotine has the same problem as all other stimulants: The range at which I am better able to overcome frustration in order to focus is also the range at which I am better able to get incandescently angry at sources of frustration that are outside of my control.

I don't think that works. L-theanine moderates caffeine for specific reasons, right? It's not a particularly effective anxiolytic on its own. (Also, I already am, and am still incandescently angry)

I have good effects with not-caffeine stimulants (e.g. Ephedrine). I did not know it was supposed be caffeine only so maybe it was psychosomatic. Then again I always take caffeine so maybe it was just impacting the caffeine. Confounding variables are a bitch

Yeah. My experience is that L-theanine helps with caffeine and that I almost never have no caffeine in my system but the few times when I have and have taken theanine anyway it's seemed... fine but not like it was doing much? Haven't tried with no caffeine but other stimulants.
