      Possibly related: Balls have a thermoregulation mechanism. When the weather is hot, the balls hang a little further away from the rest of the body. When it's cold, they retract a bit to conserve heat. In this mode, they have less room to move around and are more sensitive.

      In an erection scenario, the blood flows closer to the surface, just like it does on a person's skin when it's hot outside. It just so happens that balls in hot weather mode have more room to move around.
