The other side of this is the stability of masculine relationships. I never worry about my close male relationships.
Sadly one of my closest male relationships exploded very badly a few months back, and a few years ago my dad's childhood friend of like 60 years cut contact with him, so I can't really say the same.

I'm slowly repairing things with my friend but it all feels very fragile and distant - like we've lost most of two decades of friendship even if we stay friends. I doubt dad and C will ever repair things.
