Finding myself vaguely disappointed in the replies to "What do you like about being a man?" thread and I'm not quite clear on why.
So it's less "women are choosier" and more "our social conventions are set up to give women the ability to more easily be choosy". I don't think those norms do either gender any favours TBH, but it sucks from both sides in different ways.

Yeah, it is, but I think it comes from roughly the same root feeling. People don't necessarily conceptualise their problems sensibly. A lot of that specific conversation I just noped out of though.
