Finding myself vaguely disappointed in the replies to "What do you like about being a man?" thread and I'm not quite clear on why.

lol i love those kinds of questions because they always expose that gender doesn't really make sense as more than a stereotype
It doesn't, but the stereotype is generally based on real differences in norms even if any given person conforms to those norms well or badly.

agreed, it just means people are reluctant to answer with those things because they usually want to avoid expressing stereotypes
