Although it also tied into a certain level of making self-coercion safe in small doses. This was part of the general "oh wait negative self-talk is *useful* maybe I shouldn't 100% avoid it" realisation I think, though I may be confusing emotional epiphanies there are so many.

Also in some circumstances unlearning trauma can be super hot, but I probably shouldn't go into that without an NSFW alt.
