I wonder if the correct analogue here is not how a cis woman would behave in normal circumstances, but how a cis woman engaged in an active campaign for their rights would behave. The suffragettes were not exactly meek. Also I think a lot of women in tech groups behave this way.

Yeah, for sure. It's not a popular move when cis women do it either. Wonder if it's more effective for achieving change than it is individually popular though? Genuinely don't know.
