Cities will probably become much more interesting once all of the high paying jobs that are easily outsourced err I mean "made remote" move out of them.

Also cities are basically essential for any viable climate change strategy, so it would be idiotic to let them collapse. Hmm. Which is to say it *probably* won't happen.

American (as in unrestricted urban sprawl, made for cars) non-human scale cities aren't Lindy? It make a lot sense for network of small cities, with great connections by train. Netherlands/Belgium comes to mind.
