80% overlap. offline gets a bonus from being able to emote, empathise, echo, etc in real time. online gets a bonus from being able to search, quote-tweet, screenshot, @ people, etc

I'd say yes, but the online persona is like an extension package, so to speak. There's nuance that can't always be properly conveyed offline.

Same person expressing slightly different sides of myself. No one has quite the full picture of who I am, but I don't think they would even if we were best friends IRL and mutuals on Twitter.

I'm pathologically shy offline until I feel safe enough (with some folks, takes up to 6 months!), then I start behaving more like online me

Much more authentic online. It's easier to find/cultivate the space for true expression. In person there is so much extra garbage that goes into interactions. Especially if all you know is school/work/home. We all need low-stakes conversation but deny that reality.
