zoe (the girl re: the initial gamergate article) is/was also a goon so 2 of those 3 things are goon-adjacents

gg article pretty reasonable summary. the thing with something awful, is it was described as a SJ-space, but that doesn't really quite cover it. there's as much of the chan-type chaos element there. goonfleet et al. changes in mods eventually led to the more SJ tone at the time
