TIL that as somebody who is a) gay and b) thankful his mother escaped a physically very abusive marriage, my opinions on marriage are very far from mainstream, even here. (That was obvious once I started thinking about it, I just never gave it any thought)

I don't know about mainstream, but as a datapoint, I've been cursing, writing, then deleting tweets, and then just decided to take time off twitter until people have stopped writing hot takes about marriage that make me want to hit something so

For a third data point, there have been some of these tweets I've had to bite my tongue to not reply to recently too. I suspect we're all being aggravated by slightly different aspects, but hugs and sympathies all round nevertheless.

idk for me "tired and stressed" generally makes me want to set fires to things rather than the opposite, so respect for keeping your cool in those conditions

It's a bit contextual. It tends to cause me to nope out faster and get extremely grouchy when I can't.
