Also, side note: This video was a helpful reminder, if reminder were needed, that I am really quite bi. I think one problem I have with male attractiveness is that I find motion very attractive, and tend to find still images boring, and this is much more true of men than women.

I think I'm like 95% straight but I absolutely see what you're saying re: motion.

curiously, when I started following you, I was convinced for a couple of weeks that you were a lesbian (don't know why)

haha! i'd guess maybe it's a association w/ masculinity and science background, and/or general non-metaphorical narrow-emotional band talk or smth, idk? I barely even have IRL women friends let alone relationships

Women who prefer male friends is a culturally recognised thing. Men who prefer female friends is a bit less so if they're straight.

One thing I find weird is that the majority of the people I follow on Twitter seem to accidentally not be straight cis men, and I genuinely don't think I'm trying to flirt with or fantasize about any of them, so it's not a sexual attraction thing.

Yeah, I end up interacting with more men than women online for some reaso. This is the exact opposite of my real life and I find it fascinating...simply cannot get women to trust me as much online, lol.

I end up interacting with a lot more men online than in person (most of my friends are women, though by no means all) and I think for me it's partly just a numbers game (lots of men in this corner of Twitter) and having a higher comfort level with having many casual interactions.

^this too, seems like women become more guarded towards casual interactions once they gain prominence/are part of a prominent circle on all corners of twitter....this one just has more men ofc. Wish that didn't need to happen!
