Michael Ashcroft (18/100 YouTube videos) @m_ashcroft3/ Now fast forward however many decades. You're walking down the street and your back hurts. Your posture is bad. So you try pulling your shoulders back, or you puff out your chest, or you pull your stomach in. You back still hurts. These are all the wrong thing.Show this thread1 reply 0 retweets 2 likes -

Of course you realise that the big problem with "Alexander Technique makes people hotter" as a framing is that you're suggesting that Alexander Technique makes people much more likely to want to do you.

You should amend your syllabus to have asterisks and footnotes after non-doing* *except for the one type, for which I am here

You know there is Truth in the hips because they don't lie.

This is totally breaking theme but I'm afraid my brain immediately went to "One hip always tells the truth, the other hip always lies". Actually pretty accurately captures my feelings about my respective hips too, though I'm probably being unfair to righty.

@m_ashcroft after I go for a really long walk my hips feel kind of sore. Is that normal or am I bad at walking?1 reply 0 retweets 1 like -

Too little information to comment. I get a bit sore after lots of walking, mainly in my knees, but also I have arthritis so... I'd say there are almost certainly ways that you could be walking more efficiently and reduce soreness.
