Having ideas is trivial. Having great ideas isn’t.

Is that disagreeing or is this what visa means by a process of getting good ideas? Certainly it's pretty close to what I mean when I say that it's not hard to generate great ideas you just need to do the work.
Though I think there are easier ways. You can generate a lot of great ideas by going broad rather than deep, and this is often easier if you're on your own - going deep often needs more institutional support and more people have done it.
